Do Raindrops Smile?

I got in my car one recent morning, pressed the garage door opener, started the car then backed out of the garage.

I wasn't in a bad mood. I wasn't in an overly great mood. I was just so-so.

Then one, single, solitary raindrop landed on the passenger side of my front window.

A single drop.

It looked like the outline of a circle with a few dots inside.

It looked like ... like a ... like a smile.

God sent me a smile! Our Loving Lord sent me smile through a raindrop.

It perked me up. It made me smile. My attitude, though not bad to start with, instantly improved. I can't smile without improving my attitude when I do. What a way to start my day! How great it was to start my day with a raindrop smile from my Loving Lord!

Then as I drove the car three or four more raindrops fell right in my line of sight. And guess what?

They looked like smiles too! More raindrop smiles from my Loving Lord.

How does our Loving Lord want to reveal Himself to you? Where will you find our Loving Lord? Will you just see the 'annoying' raindrop or will you open your eyes and see the smile in the raindrop?

Deuteronomy 32 (The Message)
The Song
1-5 Listen, Heavens, I have something to tell you.
Attention, Earth, I've got a mouth full of words.
My teaching, let it fall like a gentle rain,
my words arrive like morning dew,
Like a sprinkling rain on new grass,
like spring showers on the garden.
For it's God's Name I'm preaching—
respond to the greatness of our God!
The Rock: His works are perfect,
and the way he works is fair and just;
A God you can depend upon, no exceptions,
a straight-arrow God.
His messed-up, mixed-up children, his non-children,
throw mud at him but none of it sticks.

Awwww...that's a nice thought! I love it when we can find God in the world around us. And it's easy, if we'll just look for it!
